Actually that last one is True. Marty and his friends crash landed on earth. Marty was slowly going crazy, so the others who crashed with him used drugs to make him think he was human, but some of his alien background seaped into his human persona, hence his obsession with aliens when the SGC first meets him. In Wormhole X-treme, the other aliens finally get to go home, but Marty's happy on Earth, so they leave him behind.
