I think it's sad that Carson (Dr. Beckett) died. Who saw that episode? It was a good one though, besides the fact that he died.

I agree. It was good, and yes, it was a colossal bummer. I had to graduate high school the next day. What a two-day period that was...
The thing is, nobody ever really dies in sci-fi...

I think the guy who plays Carson wanted to quit, so they had to figure out a good way to pull him off the show.

Actually no. Paul McGillion was upset about being written out. That's part of why the fan outcry was so huge. Didn't you hear about the protests?

They were massive. One fan demonstration happened right outside the studio. They even brought in a bagpipe band.

*sniffle* That was so sad!! They can't kill off Carson! Thats like killing off a main character! It can not be done! What is it with them and killing off doctors.
